About the Role
As a Sales Representative, you will be at the forefront of our customer engagement strategy. Your mission will be to identify opportunities, build meaningful client relationships, and present effective security solutions tailored to customer needs. Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source and sell armed monitoring and response agreements, ensuring clients receive best-in-class security solutions.
- Promote and sell alarm system upgrades, CCTV systems, electric fencing, and other electronic security innovations tailored to client requirements.
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets by combining self-sourced opportunities with internal leads.
- Develop professional networks with estate agents, architects, contractors, and other industry stakeholders to drive long-term business growth.
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting on daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities.
- Deliver excellent customer service by providing clear information, professional presentations, and consistent follow-up on leads and quotations.
- Manage administrative duties with attention to detail, ensuring smooth handover processes between sales and technical teams.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- PSIRA registration is essential.
- At least 1–2 years’ proven sales experience, preferably in capital goods or technical sales.
- Knowledge of intruder detection systems (e.g., IDS, DSC, AJAX) or related alarm systems will be a distinct advantage.
- Strong technical acumen and a willingness to learn new products and technologies.
