Job Overview
Premier Waltloo Bakery is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Worker: Bread Packer to join the Production team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in meeting daily production targets, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining product quality according to “The Premier Way.”
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Consistently deliver on daily production and bulk plan targets.
- Ensure product quality and integrity are never compromised.
- Maintain strict hygiene, housekeeping, and safety standards within the production area.
- Adhere to company rules, policies, and procedures.
- Support planned maintenance of allocated equipment and assets.
- Handle administration, stock records, and relevant documentation accurately.
- Follow all SOPs to ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
- Perform crate stacking, stock picking, and damage repacks.
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to operate and maintain weighing scales and other production equipment.
- Solid understanding of production processes and quality control principles.
- Strong numerical skills for batch conversions and stock calculations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to work efficiently in a pressurised, fast-paced environment.

Minimum Requirements
- Education: Matric / Grade 12
- Experience: 1–2 years in the FMCG industry
