SALARY: R163 680 per annum (Level 03)

Minimum Requirements

  • A Grade 12 certificate (or an equivalent qualification).
  • PSIRA registration at Grade C level.
  • No prior work experience required.
  • Computer literacy, particularly in MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Completion of Basic Security Officer Training.

  • Initiative, reliability, and commitment to quality work.
  • Ability to plan and execute duties efficiently.

Technical Competencies:

  • Familiarity with the national security environment and relevant policies.
  • Understanding of legislation relating to public security and access control, including the Minimum Information Security Standards (MISS).
  • Knowledge of applicable emergency procedures.

Key Responsibilities

The appointed candidate will be expected to:

  • Manage and control access to the premises.
  • Conduct regular patrols and monitoring of facilities.
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of all security registers and documentation.
