Role Overview

As a Security Guard, you will be at the front line of protection for our clients. Your role will involve maintaining vigilance, enforcing safety protocols, preventing unauthorized access, and responding swiftly to incidents. Key Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, disturbances, or unsafe behavior.
• Guard entrances and exits to ensure controlled access to premises.
• Protect property and assets against theft, vandalism, and damage.
• Report suspicious activity, incidents, or safety hazards promptly.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances according to company protocol.
• Maintain accurate records, including incident and daily activity reports.
• Provide assistance to clients, visitors, and staff while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Cooperate with law enforcement or emergency services when required.
• Enforce company rules and regulations, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Grade 10 or higher.
• Security Registration: Valid PSIRA registration (minimum Grade C).
• Experience: Previous experience as a Security Guard will be advantageous, but not mandatory.
• Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in English (both verbal and written).
• Physical Fitness: Must be medically fit to perform guard duties.
• Documentation: South African ID, updated CV, and proof of PSIRA registration.
• Availability: Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
