Key Responsibilities
As a Shell Fuel Attendant, you will be the friendly face our customers meet at the pumps. Your main duties will include:
Fuel Dispensing
Accurately filling vehicles with petrol or diesel as per customer request.
Following safety standards and ensuring no fuel spillage.
Customer Service
Greet customers with professionalism and courtesy.
Assisting with directions, queries, or general support at the service station.
Offering to clean windscreens and check oil/water levels when required.
Payment Handling
Accepting cash, card, or voucher payments securely.
Issuing receipts and ensuring correct change is given.
Station Support
Keeping the forecourt clean, safe, and presentable at all times.
Reporting any incidents, suspicious activities, or equipment faults to supervisors.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must:
Have completed Grade 10 or higher (proof of school report or certificate required).
Be at least 18 years of age.
Have good communication skills (English and at least one local language).
Be reliable, punctual, and customer-oriented.
Be available to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays during the December festive period.
Training and Development
All successful candidates will undergo short, intensive training before the festive season begins. This training covers:
Safe handling of fuel and forecourt safety procedures.
