Purpose of the Role

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that quality food and beverages are received, prepared, and served to customers in line with our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Key Duties and Responsibilities

As part of the Stores Division, your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Maintaining Cleanliness and Hygiene Standards
   • Follow strict hygiene protocols to ensure a clean working environment.
   • Uphold company standards for cleanliness in both the kitchen and customer areas.
   • Regularly sanitize food preparation surfaces, equipment, and tools to prevent contamination.
2. Ensuring Food Safety Compliance
   • Prepare food according to food safety guidelines and SOP requirements.
   • Monitor storage temperatures, stock rotation, and food labeling to maintain freshness and quality.
   • Adhere to health regulations and company policies to create a safe dining environment for customers.
3. Menu Preparation and Service Efficiency
   • Accurately prepare menu items as per company recipes and guidelines.
   • Deliver food quickly without compromising on quality or presentation.
   • Work effectively under pressure during peak service hours.
4. Delivering Excellent Customer Service
   • Greet customers warmly and respond to their needs with professionalism.
   • Provide accurate information about menu items and promotions.
   • Resolve customer queries or complaints efficiently, ensuring a positive experience.
5. Teamwork and Collaboration
   • Support fellow team members in daily operations.
   • Communicate clearly with kitchen staff, supervisors, and management.
   • Contribute to a positive work culture by maintaining respect and cooperation within the team.

Requirements to Apply

To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:

• Educational Background: A National Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
• Work Experience: At least one year of related experience in a restaurant, fast-food service, or hospitality environment.
• Skills and Competencies:

  • Good verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
