About the Role: Fuel Management Assistant
PepsiCo is looking for a detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive individual to join our team as a Fuel Management Assistant. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operations of our fleet and logistics systems by managing fuel use efficiently. While it may seem like a behind-the-scenes function, fuel management directly contributes to the overall success of the company by ensuring vehicles are fueled correctly, monitored consistently, and recorded accurately for financial and operational purposes.
As a Fuel Management Assistant, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day tasks related to fuel, including fueling vehicles, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring that all records are reconciled correctly. Key Responsibilities
In this role, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Filling Vehicles with Fuel: Ensuring that company vehicles are fueled appropriately and consistently so that transport and delivery schedules are not disrupted.
- Monitoring Fuel Levels: Checking and recording daily fuel tank levels, ensuring there are no shortages that could affect operations.
- Reconciliation of Fuel: Comparing physical fuel records with system data and ensuring that discrepancies are identified and resolved quickly.
- General Administrative Tasks: Keeping accurate logs, filing fuel slips, maintaining fuel issue records, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Supporting the Logistics Team: Assisting fleet managers and drivers with queries related to fuel allocation and usage.
- Ensuring Compliance: Making sure all processes follow PepsiCo’s standards, health and safety regulations, and sustainability goals.
This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability, as fuel is one of the most critical resources in our logistics chain.
Qualifications and Requirements

- Education: A minimum of Matric (Grade 12) is required.
