Introduction

Transnet Port Terminals (TPT) is one of the key operating divisions within Transnet SOC Ltd, responsible for managing South Africa’s commercial ports and ensuring the smooth flow of trade through efficient terminal operations. Key Responsibilities and Outputs

As a WIL Trainee, you will be expected to contribute meaningfully to your department while learning from experienced professionals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in specific departmental projects and initiatives.

  • Support daily functions, including the preparation of documentation, reporting, and record management.

  • Abide by company policies, operational procedures, and all relevant safety regulations.

5. Research and Analysis

  • Conduct market research and data analysis to assist in decision-making processes.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing notes using MS Office tools.
  • Support initiatives aimed at improving internal processes and service delivery.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • A Matric certificate (or equivalent).
  • An N6 qualification in Public Relations and Communications.
  • Must be a South African citizen between the ages of 18 and 35 years.
  • Preference will be given to People with Disabilities in line with the company’s Employment Equity commitments.
  • Applicants must not be bound by any bursary obligations with another organisation.
