- Duration: 1 Year
- Credits: Minimum of 120 credits

- Training Provider: KwaZulu-Natal College of Emergency Care, under the Department of Health.
Who Should Apply
This opportunity is for unemployed youth in KwaZulu-Natal who meet the academic and fitness criteria. You must have one of the following:
- Matric / National Senior Certificate (NSC) with Higher Certificate Endorsement; or
- National Certificate (Vocational) (NCV) qualification; or
- Pre-2008 Senior Certificate.
You will also need to meet these subject requirements depending on your qualification type:

Other requirements:
- Minimum Admission Point Score (APS) of 18.
- Pass a medical fitness examination (to ensure physical ability).
- Pass a physical fitness assessment.

- Submit the Form back to the District Health HRD Office as per instructions.
- Fitness & Medical Assessments: If shortlisted, you will undergo medical and physical fitness tests.
