  • Problem-solving and assessments: Quickly assessing the nature of a customerโ€™s query or transaction and acting accordingly to resolve it in line with policies while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance and adherence to standards: Ensuring all cash-related activities are conducted in strict alignment with the bankโ€™s policies, regulatory frameworks, and risk management protocols.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must hold:

  • National Certificate in Banking (NQF5 FAIS recognised qualification).
    This qualification is essential, as it ensures candidates are well-versed in banking processes and are compliant with South Africaโ€™s financial and regulatory requirements.

Required Experience

Experience plays a critical role in this role, and applicants are expected to meet the following requirements:

  • 1โ€“2 years of relevant banking experience. While the role is entry-level in some respects, prior exposure to branch operations is essential.
  • Comprehensive teller and branch banking knowledge. Applicants must demonstrate practical experience in performing teller duties, cash management, and frontline support.
  • ATM operations expertise. Prior experience in balancing, maintaining, and troubleshooting ATM transactions is required.

  • Knowledge of branch functions. Candidates should understand the roles of different departments in the bank and how they interconnect to provide a smooth customer experience.
