Positions Available

We are currently hiring for the following roles:

1. Cashiers

Our cashiers play an important role in the secure handling and processing of money. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical in this position. As a cashier at SBV, you will work within a secure environment where confidentiality, honesty, and precision are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving, verifying, and counting cash from clients.
• Recording all transactions accurately in accordance with company policies.
• Ensuring compliance with security procedures when handling money.
• Reporting discrepancies or irregularities immediately.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
• Supporting team members to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements for Cashiers:

• Minimum Grade 12 (Matric).
• Strong numerical and literacy skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Trustworthy and reliable with a clear criminal record.
• Previous experience in a cashier, teller, or money-handling role will be an advantage.

2. Security Guards

Our security guards form the frontline of SBV Security, safeguarding premises, personnel, and valuable assets. As a security guard, you will ensure that all security protocols are followed and that potential risks are minimized.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and patrolling designated areas.
• Protecting company assets and clients against theft or unauthorized access.

• Ensuring compliance with safety and security standards.
• Providing excellent customer service while maintaining firm security control.

Requirements for Security Guards:

• Minimum Grade 10 or higher.
• Valid PSIRA (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority) registration.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Physically fit and able to work long shifts.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Must have a clear criminal record.
• Previous security experience will be an advantage.
