Location: Various Engen Service Stations Nationwide

💼 Job Purpose
The main purpose of this position is to provide excellent customer service by safely and efficiently refueling vehicles, cleaning windscreens, checking oil and water levels, and ensuring that customers leave the service station with a smile. Engen attendants are trained to uphold the highest safety and service standards while representing the Engen brand professionally at all times.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
As a Petrol Attendant, your daily duties will include:
- Greeting customers warmly and assisting them promptly upon arrival.
- Refueling vehicles accurately and safely according to company standards.
- Cleaning windscreens and checking oil, water, and tire pressure upon request.
- Processing cash or card payments using Engen’s approved payment systems.
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the forecourt area.
- Reporting any fuel spills, leaks, or safety hazards immediately.
- Promoting Engen’s loyalty programs and special offers to customers.
- Assisting with stock checks and ensuring that equipment is in good working condition.
- Providing courteous, honest, and efficient service to all customers.
🎓 Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this exciting opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of Grade 10 or equivalent qualification.
- Good communication skills in English or any South African language.
- Basic numerical skills for handling payments and fuel quantities.
- Physical fitness to stand for long periods and perform light manual duties.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Good interpersonal skills and a professional attitude toward customers and colleagues.
- South African citizenship or valid work permit.
Previous experience as a petrol attendant, cashier, or customer service worker will be an advantage, but training will be provided for new entrants.
