Key Responsibilities

As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining peace and ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, and property. Your primary duties will include the following:

• Conduct Regular Patrols: Perform routine patrols within and around the premises to monitor and secure all areas, including entry gates, parking areas, offices, and storage zones.
• Access Control: Manage and supervise entry and exit points for employees, guests, and vehicles. Ensure that only authorized personnel enter the premises by checking identification and access permits.
• Verification and Compliance: Confirm that all visitors and contractors comply with the organization’s security rules and safety standards before granting access.
• Incident Response: Take swift and appropriate action in case of alarms, disturbances, theft, or emergencies. Your calm and quick decision-making can prevent potential risks and ensure everyone’s safety.
• Emergency Support: Provide assistance during fire drills, medical emergencies, or evacuation procedures. Offer first aid where needed and coordinate with relevant departments.
• Coordination with Authorities: In serious situations, liaise promptly with local emergency services such as police, fire departments, and medical teams to ensure an effective response.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate logs of all incidents, irregularities, or safety breaches. Submit daily and weekly security reports to supervisors.
• Customer Service: Greet and guide visitors professionally, provide directions when necessary, and maintain a friendly yet firm security presence on-site.
• Theft and Vandalism Prevention: Keep a vigilant eye on activities within the premises to deter theft, damage, or unauthorized access.
• Security Screening: Conduct bag inspections, security checks, or vehicle screenings when instructed, always respecting company protocol and individual privacy.
• Workplace Safety: Ensure all employees adhere to occupational health and safety regulations. Report hazards or unsafe behaviors immediately.
• Asset Protection: Safeguard company equipment and prevent misuse or removal of property without proper authorization.
• Disciplinary Enforcement: Assist management in enforcing workplace rules and security-related disciplinary measures in accordance with company policy.

Required Qualifications and Skills

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Education: Possess at least a Senior High School or Vocational School diploma or its equivalent.
• Certification: Hold a valid SATPAM training certificate recognized by the Indonesian National Police.
• KTA Requirement: Must possess an active and valid SATPAM Kartu Tanda Anggota (KTA) identification card.
• Physical Fitness: Maintain a proportional body weight and good physical condition suitable for long patrols and emergency duties.
• Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Professional Image: Exhibit a clean, neat, and disciplined appearance at all times while on duty.
• Communication Skills: Be able to communicate clearly and respectfully with coworkers, clients, and the public.
• Drug-Free Certification: Willingness to provide an official drug-free test result as part of the pre-employment screening process.
• Work Ethic: Demonstrate responsibility, honesty, punctuality, and reliability in all assigned duties.

Preferred Attributes

While not mandatory, candidates with the following attributes will have an advantage:

• Previous experience in a similar role such as building security, gate control, or industrial patrol.
• Basic understanding of emergency procedures, fire prevention, or occupational safety.
• The ability to work well under pressure, especially in high-traffic or sensitive environments.
• Good observation and reporting skills with attention to detail.
• A team-oriented attitude combined with strong personal discipline.

Work Environment and Conditions

Security Officers will work on-site across multiple regions in Indonesia depending on the client’s needs. Shifts are 12 hours, with rotation between day and night duties. Successful candidates should be flexible, punctual, and ready to work during weekends or holidays if required.
