Key Responsibilities

As a cleaner with The Cleaning Initiative, you will play an essential role in maintaining high standards of hygiene and tidiness across assigned areas. Your daily duties will include but are not limited to:

• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors to ensure they remain clean and safe.
• Dusting and polishing furniture, windows, and surfaces.
• Emptying bins, disposing of waste properly, and maintaining recycling standards.
• Cleaning restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to health and safety guidelines.
• Replenishing cleaning materials and notifying supervisors when supplies are low.
• Using cleaning equipment safely and reporting any defects or maintenance needs.
• Assisting with special cleaning projects when required, such as deep cleaning or seasonal tasks.
• Following work schedules, instructions, and company hygiene protocols.
