Available Positions
Cashbuild is looking to fill several important roles within its stores and distribution operations. The available positions include:
1. Forklift Drivers
Location: All provinces
Requirements:
- A valid forklift license
- At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift
- Ability to load and offload stock safely
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Duties:
- Safely move stock within the warehouse and store area
- Assist with the receiving and dispatching of goods
- Ensure that all stock is handled carefully and stored in the correct place
2. Cashiers
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Previous retail or cashier experience will be an advantage
- Friendly and professional customer service attitude
Duties:
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Assist customers with purchases and inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the tills
- Balance till at the end of each shift
3. General Assistants
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 10
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
- Willingness to perform a variety of tasks
- Good team player and reliable attitude
Duties:
- Assist customers with loading and offloading materials
- Stock shelves and maintain store cleanliness
- Help in receiving deliveries and organizing the store layout
- Support other departments when required
4. Drivers
Requirements:
- Valid Code 8/10/14 driver’s license (depending on the position)
- Clean driving record
- Knowledge of routes and basic vehicle maintenance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Duties:
- Deliver building materials to customers safely and on time
- Assist in loading and offloading products
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any issues
5. Cleaners
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 10
- No experience required, training will be provided
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Duties:
- Clean store floors, shelves, and restrooms
- Dispose of waste and maintain hygiene standards
- Support staff in keeping the workplace safe and organized

Minimum Requirements (General for All Positions)
- South African ID or a valid work permit
- Age: 18 years and above
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (and local languages)
