Job Responsibilities
As a Clicks Shop Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth shopping experience for every customer. Your duties will include:
- Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly, professional manner.
- Operating the till and processing payments accurately.
- Restocking shelves and ensuring products are neatly displayed.
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the store.
- Checking expiry dates and ensuring stock rotation.
- Supporting store promotions and campaigns.
- Assisting the pharmacy team where required.
- Handling customer queries or complaints with patience and positivity.
- Working effectively as part of a team to achieve daily sales targets.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for these positions, applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Education: Grade 10, Grade 11, or Matric (Grade 12) certificate.
- Experience: No previous retail experience is required for entry-level roles. Training will be provided.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Reliability and a positive work attitude.
- Willingness to work retail hours (including weekends and public holidays).
Applicants with prior experience in a retail or customer service role will have an added advantage.

Work Schedule and Locations
Positions are available nationwide in various provinces including Gauteng, Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape, and Limpopo.
- Full-Time Roles: 40–45 hours per week.
- Part-Time Roles: 20–25 hours per week (flexible scheduling available).
