🧹 Position 1: Housekeeper

Job Summary:
As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, suites, and public areas. You will ensure that every corner of the resort reflects the high standards of hygiene and comfort that our guests expect. This position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a passion for creating a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, sanitize, and organize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to the resort’s standards.
• Replace linens, towels, and amenities while maintaining a consistent supply inventory.
• Check rooms for maintenance issues and report them promptly to the supervisor.
• Ensure all assigned areas are kept neat, tidy, and guest-ready at all times.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any damage or malfunction.
• Uphold the resort’s health and safety policies.
• Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with guests and colleagues.
• Support team members and assist with additional tasks during high occupancy periods.

Requirements:

• Grade 10 or higher qualification (Grade 12 preferred).
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or resort is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent time management and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and able to handle the demands of cleaning duties.
• Reliable, honest, and committed to delivering high-quality service.

🛡️ Position 2: Security Guard

Location: The Capital Resort – Security Department
Job Type: Full-time / Shift Work
Department: Security and Risk Management

Job Summary:
The Security Guard ensures the safety and security of all guests, staff, and property. You will monitor the premises, patrol assigned areas, and respond to any suspicious activity or emergencies. Your presence will help maintain a safe, peaceful, and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone at the resort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol resort buildings and surrounding areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
• Check guest and staff identification when necessary and control entry points.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies, including fire alarms, medical incidents, and disturbances.
• Complete daily incident and shift reports accurately.
• Assist guests and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
• Enforce resort security policies and maintain high vigilance at all times.
• Collaborate with management and law enforcement when required.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• PSIRA registration (minimum Grade C) is mandatory.
• Previous experience in a hospitality or corporate security environment is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Neat appearance, punctuality, and reliability are essential.
• Ability to work day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Must have no criminal record.
