Position: Security Guard (Full-Time and Contract Positions Available)

We are currently seeking vigilant and dedicated Security Guards to be stationed at various client sites. Successful candidates will be responsible for protecting people, property, and assets while maintaining a visible and professional presence. As a guard at Memuzah Security Services, you will play a key role in upholding safety, preventing crime, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols and inspections of assigned premises to ensure all areas are secure.
• Control access to buildings, parking areas, or restricted zones by verifying identification and authorizations.
• Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and other security systems to detect suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in accordance with company procedures.
• Record and report all security-related incidents, hazards, and irregularities in detailed written logs.
• Assist customers, staff, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain high visibility to deter potential theft, vandalism, or other unlawful behavior.
• Cooperate with law enforcement officers when required and provide accurate reports during investigations.
• Adhere to all company policies, standard operating procedures, and site-specific instructions.
• Uphold the image and reputation of Memuzah Security Services at all times.

Requirements and Qualifications

To qualify for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate (minimum educational requirement).
• PSIRA registration (Grade C or higher) – valid and up to date.
• Minimum of one year’s experience in the security industry will be advantageous, though new entrants with the right attitude are welcome to apply.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Excellent observation and reporting abilities.
• Physically fit and able to stand or patrol for long periods.
• No criminal record (background checks will be conducted).
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Ability to work both day and night shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Must be neat in appearance and presentable in uniform.

Work Environment

You will be assigned to one of our client sites based on your location, skill set, and preference.
